Clinical Trials National Tribute and Award Ceremony

For the first time the Australian Clinical Trials Alliance (ACTA) and the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc will celebrate International Clinical Trial Day together, on Monday 20 May. The collaborative ceremony will feature four different awards. ACTA will spotlight its Trial of the Year and ACTA STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics awards as well as introducing a new Award for Consumer Involvement. The Skin & Cancer Foundation will present the winner of its Excellence in Clinical Trials award -Clinical Trial Coordinator.  If you're in Melbourne you can join us at the Royal Children's Hospital. It's a breakfast event and we'd love you to come along as we recognise our clinical trial award winners. The event is free but we need to know you’re coming.  Find out more and register here.

Excellence in Clinical Trial Award- Clinical Trial Coordinator – Now Accepting Nominations!

The Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc has taken the initiative to recognise and reward outstanding Clinical Trial Coordinators. The award was introduced last year at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc International Clinical Trials Day celebration. It was extremely well received and so we are continuing our annual search for deserving individuals, nationally.

The award is presented to a Clinical Trial Coordinator who is recognised by their peers as an exemplary professional that goes above and beyond their role in the delivery of care to patients, and demonstrates a commitment to the value and importance of clinical trials in improving health care.

We are grateful to have the support of Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) as our Principal Awards Partner.  The winner will be announced at the Clinical Trials National Tribute and Award Ceremony to be held on International Clinical Trials Day. The winner will receive a trophy and a complimentary ticket to this year’s SCRS Asia-Pac Site Solutions Summit, 16-17 July, valued at over one thousand AUD!

Additionally, thanks to our generous Prize Partner-ARCS, the lucky winner will also receive a free 3 day registration to the ARCS annual conference from 6-8 August at the ICC in Sydney! This prize is valued at $2,730.00.

Entries close on the 8th of May so don’t miss out.  Click here to access the nomination form.
